Friends
thesingingwalrus: We give thanks for friends. Our dear friends. We anger each other. We fail each other. We share this sad earth, this tender life, this precious time. Such richness. Such wildness. Together we are blown about. Together we are dragged along. All this delight. All this suffering. All this forgiving life. We hold it together. Amen   by Michael Leunig

I’ll leave you with some groovy muff related tweets, just because. Because who can get enough? Of that stuff? “He found himself miffed by his lack of muffs. She miffled: Boy, one good muff is more than enough..” “Then she lead him to muffytown, where he miffled & muffled till they were muffed. He was no longer miffed, it was a great muff” “she had a red...

Why Not? live by Head Full of Steam on @MusosTogether  http://www.musicianstogether.com A raggedy garagey pop song addition to our live set. A fun break to the weighty, intense material I’ve been writing lately. Also, slightly to my surprise, a favourite with the boys to record late this year Would kind of like to say it’s autobiographical, but it’s more from conversations ...

LOVE LIZA Brief Description, by me: A grief stricken man, in the aftermath of his wife’s suicide takes to gas huffing. Love Liza is a very good film & it’s as good a performance from Philip Seymour Hoffman as he’s ever given. Kathy Bates is completely believable & affecting too. It’s also very very sad & made my housemates wonder what the hell is wrong with...

I didn’t think much about how I go to the same place in the same park for a lunch break/get out of the office & read break, till someone was sitting on MY spot on the grass! How dare he sit in MY spot!? Fortunately he was gone real quick & I could wind down a while in my happy place. A co-worker was also nice enough to bring in a nice ipod dock with real good speakers for the music...
